Introducing Summer House, Marrickville
This project involves alterations and additions to a very unique site—a freestanding terrace home in Sydney’s inner west suburb of Marrickville, with a large rear yard and existing swimming pool.
The existing home did little to address this amazing rear garden, and modifications were required to provide the ultimate summer home. A new open plan rear addition is proposed which connects seamlessly with an outdoor entertaining area, new landscaping and the existing pool. A new bathroom is concealed behind joinery panels, and a new courtyard space and skylights brings light deep into the home.
